Arabic cartoons and explainers, made in Arabic
To make an Arabic cartoon video, type your topic in Arabic or English, choose Arabic, and Motion2D writes the story in Modern Standard Arabic, narrates it with an Arabic voice and adds right-to-left captions. Arabic-speaking families often struggle to find good new cartoons in Arabic; this is a way to make them.
One Arabic for the whole region
Videos are written in Modern Standard Arabic (fusha), understood from Morocco to Iraq, which is also the Arabic of school and educational TV. The voices are Saudi Arabic voices.
Type your topic in Arabic or English, for example لماذا السماء زرقاء؟, and choose Arabic.
- Modern Standard Arabic scripts
- Saudi Arabic voices (Hamed and Zariyah)
- Right-to-left captions with joined letters
Learners and teachers
Arabic learners benefit from short stories with captions, and Arabic teachers use animation for vocabulary and reading practice. Keep captions on, and ask for slow, clear narration.
Example: a 3-minute Arabic story for children
Topic: قصة عن سلحفاة صغيرة تتعلم الصبر (a story about a little tortoise who learns patience), for 6-year-olds, soft colours. Motion2D writes the story in fusha, narrates it slowly and shows each word highlighted right to left as it's spoken. Three minutes uses 3 credits. Make an English version for bilingual families: 3 more.
Stories from the Arabic tradition to retell
Classic tales are free to retell in your own words: Kalila wa Dimna's animal fables, the voyages of Sindbad, Juha's (Goha's) comic wisdom, and stories from One Thousand and One Nights such as Ali Baba. Retell them for children with gentle endings, or for adults with their original wit. For science and history, see science explainers and history animation.
